Description

This wooden card holder is inspired by the traditional Taiwanese “Gaji bag” (woven plastic bag). It features a handle-shaped design and uses the classic red, blue, and green color scheme that evokes nostalgic memories of Taiwan. The back holds business cards or transport cards, and it can also be used as a luggage tag with the included leather strap.

At the top of the image, the product name "Wooden Gaji Bag – Kā-tsí" is displayed on a cream-colored background. To the right is a wooden card holder designed in the shape of a traditional Taiwanese "gaji bag," with iconic red, blue, and green stripes and a cutout handle. The middle section contains a brief history of the gaji bag, explaining that it originates from the Japanese word "kagiami" (crochet), and was originally handmade from triangular sedge grass before being industrialized with nylon mesh fabric. The classic color combination evokes strong cultural memories for Taiwanese people. Below, the product structure is shown: made of maple wood and Valchromat board, it opens to hold cards like transportation cards, credit cards, or ID badges. A detachable leather strap with a metal buckle is shown, allowing the card holder to be used as a luggage tag or hung on a bag. At the bottom, card compatibility is illustrated with icons for an EasyCard, credit card, and ID badge. A size diagram is included, showing the card holder measures 93mm wide and 86.2mm high, with the strap length at 120mm and a tolerance of ±5mm.

Important Notes

Package To help protect the Earth, we use fully eco-friendly packaging and biodegradable packing tape. Attention Each piece of solid wood has unique natural grain and luster, so pattern selection is not available. Due to lighting, angles, screen displays, and variations in natural wood grain and color, actual products may differ slightly from photos. Images are for reference only—please refer to the actual product.

Protection Method Daily Care: Use a soft, lint-free cloth or feather duster for light dusting, or a vacuum with a soft brush to remove surface dust. Avoid Liquid Residue: All solid wood is coated with natural oil for short-term protection against water and sweat. If wet, please wipe off quickly with a dry cloth or tissue and air dry. Thermal Expansion & Contraction: Natural wood may slightly expand or contract due to changes in temperature and humidity. This is a natural phenomenon and does not affect usage or function. Origin Made in Taiwan Manufacturing Method The wood is cut and shaped using CNC machining, followed by hand sanding and waxing to highlight its natural grain and form a protective layer. Finally, it is assembled with metal or accessory parts.
